Dr. Anthony Albers completed his medical studies and orthopaedic surgery residency at McGill University, followed by a fellowship in Adult Hip & Knee Reconstruction at the University of British Columbia. He currently works as an orthopaedic surgeon at St. Mary’s Hospital in Montreal and is an assistant clinical professor of surgery at McGill University.

A growing number of Canadians suffer from knee osteoarthritis. This presentation will allow participants to identify common misconceptions surrounding the diagnosis and management of patients with osteoarthritis. It will provide participants with an overview of the disease burden, pathogenesis and team-based multimodal management. It will also review new treatment strategies and areas of ongoing research.
