Vaccines in the era of immunomodulator medication

Immunomodulator-drugs have significantly improved the quality of life of patients living with certain types of arthritis. However, as they are often lowering the efficacy of the immune system, patients can be at higher risk of contracting certain infections with severe consequences. Available vaccines can prevent the occurence of these issues and are known to be safe with minimal side effects.
