Dr. Martin Cohen

Rheumatologist

Dr. Martin Cohen is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at McGill University. He is an Attending Physician in the Division of Rheumatology at the McGill University Health Center. Dr. Cohen also has offices in Pointe-Claire and Châteauguay. He is actively involved in teaching medical students, medical residents and physicians in practice. Dr. Cohen has an interest in research and has participated in over 60 clinical trials involving new medications for arthritis.

Treating inflammatory arthritis

This presentation will review the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Products to be discussed will include anti-inflammatories, corticosteroid, traditional disease modifying drugs, JAK inhibitors and biological agents. Issues regarding efficacy, safety and biosimilars will be addressed.
