Kim Arrey has a thriving nutrition consultation practice based in Montreal, where over the last 30 years she has helped thousands of clients with chronic health problems such as arthritis. Co-author with Dr. Michael Starr of the book The Complete Arthritis Health, Diet Guide and Cookbook, Kim Arrey gives presentations on healthy eating choices to help reduce inflammation and pain. Her blog focuses on using food as a tool to manage arthritis. Kim Arrey is a graduate from McGill University, and completed her integrated internship at several major Montreal hospitals. She is a member of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec, Dietitians of Canada, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She also works in a volunteer capacity with the Arthritis Society, serving on Quebec’s Divisional Advisory Board.

This workshop will help attendees identify the most important dietary changes that they can make to help them manage their arthritis pain. They will learn simple strategies to make it as painless as possible to use food as part of their arthritis treatment plan. Ms. Arrey will help participants choose at least one goal they can work towards on the road to a healthier diet with less inflammation and therefore less pain.
